5 Websites to Get Virtual Assistant Jobs

If you’re a virtual assistant or planning to become a VA and you’re looking for websites to find Virtual Assistant Jobs that can help you make some extra or full-time income then you are in the right place.

I personally tried a few of these freelance websites and they have made me extra cash and also a full-time income.

The best thing about working on these freelance websites is that you get to grow your skills, you are exposed to different clients and they are legitimate work from home jobs.

As a Virtual Assistant, you can set your own hours, work as little as you desire and you can do what you love. There are many different types of Virtual Assistants.

You can be a Virtual that provides Digital Marketing, Data Entry, Graphic designs, Illustrations, Video Editing, and so on. Here are 5 Freelancing websites to Find Virtual Assistant Jobs:

Where to Find Virtual Assistant Jobs

Upwork

This is a freelance website that allows you to create a profile that will include your skills, hourly rates, profession, portfolio, and a description of what you can do for the clients.

They take 20% of each transaction you have with a client. So if your hourly rate is $20, you will receive $16 when the client pays for an hour of work.

1. It’s a very competitive marketplace.

2. They will give you 20 free connections to bid on jobs, after which you can purchase each connects or upgrade to their plus membership for $14.99 per month.

3. You are mostly hired on an hourly basis with companies that are looking for long term freelancers

Peopleperhour

Another platform is Peopleperhour.com has mostly UK freelancers. It’s similar to upwork.com but you have lower bid amount on peopleperhour.com. You create “hourlies” (services) and customize them.

1. UK based freelancers are most likely to get hired

2. Their pay rates are much higher than many freelance websites.

3. You’ll get 3 months of free membership.

Guru.com

This freelance site is similar to Upwork. You’ll build your profile that includes your professional overview, hourly rates and add your skills.

1. They send you a notification by email about new job matches.

2. Freelancers with no reviews or experience are harder to get awarded.

3. Great for website developers and content writers

Freelancer.com

I have an account on this freelance website but have never been awarded any jobs. I know a few persons that have been on it for 5 years and are making good money doing data entry.

Freelancer.com has a lot of jobs posted every second of the day, some are repeatedly but their platform is very saturated. Also, freelancers bid on services, they offer promoted bids and the better bidder with experience normally gets awarded.

1. They have a premium membership.

2. You have to pay for tests if you want to show off your skills.

 Fiverr.com

I make a full-time income working on Fiverr. I average $3000-$5000 per month, this freelancing website keeps me busy.

You sign up or join as a seller, enter some details, and create your ‘gigs.’ The Gigs are services that you offer, for example, I will be your Data entry Virtual assistant or I will create a logo for your company.

See how you can make $5,000 per month on Fiverr

1. They take a 20% fee on every order you receive.
2. They are very strict on communication outside their platform.
3. It takes 2 weeks for them to clear out funds so you can add them to your PayPal or Payoneer account.
